For this patient, we replaced the entire upper arch with zirconia crowns retained with six dental implants.
This procedure combines the best that both dentures and dental implants have to offer. Rather than getting a dental implant for each missing tooth, the patient gets dental implants along with a full upper arch of natural-looking zirconia crowns. The zirconia crowns remain stable in the mouth so the patient can chew, speak and laugh comfortably, without worries that there will be movement or slipping.
The dental implants also serve to preserve the jawbone. When teeth roots are missing, the jawbone has a tendency ...

The before picture shows a discoloured central incisor and chronic infection that was caused by an old trauma to the tooth. The after pictures shows how root canal therapy and one bonded ceramic veneer hides discolouration and improves the uniformity of teeth.
Whether patients need only one veneer or several, they can hide a number of dental issues in addition to the discolouration showed in the photograph. Veneers are useful for camouflaging a tooth that is misshapen, chipped or gapped, and can provide a way to even out the smile, giving it a more cohesive look.

The before picture shows a lateral and chipped central incisor. The after picture shows a lateral incisor replaced by an implant-supported all-ceramic crown and composite resin on the central incisor.
Patients do not have to live with the poor aesthetics of a missing tooth or the poor function of having a gap in their bite. Filling in the space with a dental implant or other restoration not only improves the look of the smile, but it can also restore the chewing function. Leaving a gap in the smile also puts the remaining, healthy teeth at risk of shifting to fill ...

The before image shows a discoloured resin veneer that is only a few years old. In the after shot, a bonded ceramic veneer is shown. Ceramic does not change colour over time.
As shown in the picture, veneers are made to blend in beautifully with the natural teeth because these wafer-thin tooth covers have a similar translucency to the natural teeth. They can be used to hide a discoloured tooth, as shown, as well as gaps and spaces between the teeth, fractures and chips, wear on the teeth from conditions such as teeth grinding, size discrepancies among the teeth as ...

In the before picture, it’s clear to see that the central incisors have lost most of the enamel due to erosion. The teeth are too short and an unpleasant colour, and they make up a disharmonious smile line. After treatment, you can see central incisors restored to aesthetic shape, shade and length with bonded ceramic veneers.
Veneers can dramatically change the look of the smile, as seen in the photographs. What’s more is that patients usually need just a couple of scheduled bookings with our dental clinic to improve the look of their smiles. Ceramic veneers are a durable tooth ...

The patient pictured was not happy with her smile, with its discoloured and heavily filled teeth. We solved the problem with two crowns and five veneers. The next stage is to replace the missing premolars with implant-supported crowns

This patient had developmental defective enamel on central incisors, giving the yellowed and unwanted appearance. We placed two ceramic veneers on the central incisors to correct the smile. The after photo, taken three years after placement, shows the final and long-lasting results.

This patient came to us because she was unhappy with her smile. Together, we decided to change the shape and colour of her upper anterior teeth. You can see the results of four bonded ceramic veneers on central and lateral incisors to give a more even appearance.
